"What if His people PRAYED?"

Prayer has been something that has been put on my heart over the last month or so and I don’t really know why but I have been thinking a lot about it and then here comes everything with Haiti. I have friends that have been there multiple times, people I know are currently down there and many others sponsor children there through Compassion or World Vision. I need to be in prayer.

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
Ephesians 1:15-17

As I read this there are things that have stuck out to me now more than ever. See in verse 16 Paul states “ I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly”. Now I have been asking myself what do I really ever do constantly or nonstop. Because really that is what he is doing and being such a great man of God I have a lot I could learn from him and really should learn from him. Yet the only thing I seem to do constantly is to go, go and go or even think of what I should be doing now or could be doing next. Yet this theme that I have seemed to miss or has not challenged me before is all over the Bible.

As, I look forward to what is ahead I want to look at prayer as something that I do constantly and nonstop especially considering all that is going on in the world today I have to be spending time with Him constantly with no excuses getting in my way.
